What We Do
AffMiss is a crypto exchange intelligence platform. We review derivatives exchanges, compare trading fees, and publish education for futures, options, and spot traders. Every review on this site is based on first-hand testing — we open accounts, deposit funds, execute trades, and measure real spreads, execution speed, and withdrawal times before writing a single word.
The site covers three verticals: exchange reviews and comparisons, trading education (technical analysis, on-chain analysis, risk management, options Greeks), and market tools. Our target audience ranges from beginners making their first crypto purchase to experienced derivatives traders managing six-figure portfolios.
How We Test Exchanges
| Step | What We Do | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Account creation | Register, complete KYC, measure verification time | Readers need to know onboarding speed before committing |
| 2. Deposit & withdrawal | Deposit via crypto and fiat, withdraw, record processing times and fees | Actual withdrawal experience differs from advertised claims |
| 3. Trade execution | Execute spot and futures trades, measure spread, slippage, and order fill time | Fee tables mean nothing if execution adds hidden costs |
| 4. Fee verification | Record maker/taker fees to 4 decimal places, compare with published fee schedule | Some exchanges advertise low fees but add hidden charges |
| 5. Platform testing | Test charting tools, mobile app, API latency, and customer support response | The trading interface affects decision-making under pressure |
| 6. Security audit | Verify proof-of-reserves, insurance fund, cold storage ratio, and regulatory licences | After FTX, exchange solvency is a non-negotiable criterion |
We repeat this process for every exchange we review. When fees or features change, we update the review within 7 days. Each review includes a “Last Verified” date so readers know when the data was confirmed.
Editorial Standards
Independence. No exchange pays for a higher rating. Our scoring methodology weights security (30%), fees (25%), trading features (20%), liquidity (15%), and user experience (10%). The weights are fixed and published. An exchange cannot purchase a better score.
Data-driven. Every claim in our reviews is backed by a specific number: fee rates to four decimal places, processing times in hours, and trading volumes in dollars. We cite original sources (exchange fee pages, regulatory filings, on-chain data) and link to them with nofollow attributes where appropriate.
Transparency. AffMiss earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with exchanges including Binance, Bybit, OKX, Deribit, Bitget, MEXC, Gate.io, and others. When you click an affiliate link and create an account, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our ratings, rankings, or editorial content. We disclose affiliate links with rel="nofollow sponsored" on every page.
Corrections. If we publish an error, we correct it within 24 hours and note the correction at the top of the article. If you spot inaccurate information, contact us at the email below.
Content Methodology
Our educational content follows a structured research process. For every article, we identify the top 3 ranking competitors, analyse their information gaps, and write to exceed them with original data, worked examples, and precise figures. We target information gain — the concept that content should contain facts and analysis not available in existing search results.
Financial content on this site falls under YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) guidelines. We follow Google’s E-E-A-T framework: every article demonstrates first-hand Experience (we trade on the platforms we review), Expertise (our editorial team has combined experience in crypto trading since 2017), Authoritativeness (we cite primary sources and on-chain data), and Trustworthiness (we disclose conflicts of interest and correct errors promptly).
The Team
AffMiss is operated by a small editorial team of crypto traders and researchers. We have traded on derivatives exchanges since 2017 and have direct experience with futures, options, and spot markets across the platforms we review. Our team members hold positions on the exchanges we cover — we use these platforms daily, not just for testing.
We do not publish under pseudonyms for clickbait purposes. Our editorial process includes fact-checking by a second team member before publication, and all market data is cross-referenced with at least two independent sources (CoinGlass, CoinGecko, exchange APIs, or on-chain explorers).
