Enter the amount you want to withdraw. Your available balance is shown above the input field.

3

Select Recipient Address

Choose a previously added and available address from your address book. Only addresses with completed Travel Rule info will be selectable.

How to Speed Up Your Withdrawals

Deribit has security checks that can slow down withdrawals. Here’s how to ensure fast processing:

Set Address Delay to 3+ Days

Setting “New Address Delay” to 3+ days means addresses are pre-approved, so withdrawals process immediately after confirmation period.

🔐

Enable 2FA for Wallet

Add a 2FA device or Security Key with “Wallet” scope enabled in Security settings. This speeds up verification.

📧

Don’t Change Password/Email Recently

Recent password or email changes trigger additional security checks, slowing down withdrawals.

Use Known Addresses

Withdrawals to addresses you’ve used before (known addresses) process faster than brand new addresses.

⚠️ Hot Wallet Delays

Deribit keeps 99% of funds in cold storage for security. If their hot wallet doesn’t have enough funds, your withdrawal may be delayed while they transfer from cold storage. This is rare but can happen during high withdrawal periods.

Deribit Withdrawal FAQ

How long do Deribit withdrawals take?

Most withdrawals process within a few minutes to 1 hour. However, it can take longer if you’ve recently changed security settings, using a brand new address, or if Deribit needs to transfer from cold storage.

What are Deribit withdrawal fees?

Deribit charges no platform fee – you only pay the blockchain network fee. Fees vary based on network congestion. BTC minimum fee is around 0.0001 BTC, ETH around 0.0006 ETH.

Can I withdraw fiat (USD/EUR) from Deribit?

No. Deribit only supports cryptocurrency withdrawals. To cash out to fiat, withdraw to an exchange that supports fiat (like Binance or Kraken) and convert there.

Can I withdraw from a subaccount?

No. Withdrawals only work from the main account. You must first transfer funds from subaccount to main account (free and instant), then withdraw from main.

Can I cancel a withdrawal?

Yes, if status is “Unconfirmed” or “Pending”. Click the “Cancel” button in Tx Info column. Once processing starts, cancellation may not be possible.

What is the Travel Rule on Deribit?

For transactions over ~$953 (AED 3,500), Deribit must share sender/recipient information with other VASPs per regulatory requirements. You need to specify if withdrawing to a private wallet or exchange, and provide beneficiary details.

Why does my address show “Missing info”?

Addresses added before December 2024 need Travel Rule information updated. Click the yellow button next to the address to add the required info (wallet type, beneficiary details).

Why can’t I withdraw my trading profits?

Current session profits can only be withdrawn after daily settlement at 08:00 UTC. Wait until after settlement to access your profits for withdrawal.
